Recipes with Kataifi

INGREDIENTS
2 cups KANAKI Kataifi, cut into small pieces
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 ½ cups pistachio paste
2 cups milk chocolate
Optional for Decoration:
⅓ cup white chocolate
3 drops green food coloring
Equipment:
Silicone mold for chocolate
PREPARATION
Prepare Kataifi:
Untangle KANAKI Kataifi and cut it into small pieces. In a deep non-stick pan, melt the butter and mix it with the Kataifi. Sauté until it becomes crispy and lightly golden. Stir in the pistachio paste until evenly combined.
Make the White Chocolate Decoration (Optional):
Melt the white chocolate using a bain-marie or microwave. Add 3 drops of green food coloring and mix until the color is uniform. Use a piping bag to drizzle the colored chocolate in a zigzag pattern into the silicone mold.
First Layer of Milk Chocolate:
Melt the milk chocolate and pour it into the silicone mold, covering the white chocolate decoration (if used). Refrigerate the mold until the chocolate is set.
Add Kataifi Mixture:
Once the chocolate has hardened, spoon the Kataifi mixture into the mold.
Final Layer of Milk Chocolate:
Pour another layer of melted milk chocolate over the Kataifi to seal it. Chill the mold in the refrigerator until the chocolate is fully set.
Serve and Enjoy:
When the chocolate is completely firm, remove the pieces from the silicone mold. Enjoy your delicious homemade Dubai Chocolate!
